Entrepreneur and podcaster Peter Matthews announces the launch of Essential Network, a new media company and podcast network that will produce straightforward, educational and entertaining podcasts.
COSTA MESA, CA – Essential Network, a podcast network and media company founded by entrepreneur, citizen journalist and podcaster Peter Matthews officially launches on Friday, November 21, 2025 and will become America’s newest name in the independent media industry, Matthews announced in a statement.
“Now more than ever, we need a media outlet that doesn’t blindly serve partisan, political and corporate agendas, masquerade as straight news and ignore the average American,” Matthews said in a statement. “When other media outlets flood the zone with falsehoods, noise, media bias, cancel culture, censorship, insults, and incendiary rhetoric, we will flood the zone with the opposite of all of that. In the world we live in right now, Essential Network will serve as an island of common sense, integrity, tradition, truth, and patriotism. With your remote control, your computer, and your smartphone, you can make a difference by watching and listening to our shows.”
Essential Network will produce online TV shows in a variety of genres including news, sports, popular culture, history and true crime. All editions of its shows will air live exclusively on X (formerly Twitter), YouTube and Rumble. Select shows will also be available on Substack.
